Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how "Photographer's Social Helper" ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. Our philosophy is simple: what happens on your Mac stays on your Mac.
1. Offline-First Operation & Zero Data Collection
"Photographer's Social Helper" operates as a 100% offline desktop application running strictly on your local macOS hardware.
- No Analytics: We actively do not collect usage analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or diagnostic data.
- No User Accounts: We do not ask for, collect, or store your email address, name, or account information. You do not need to register to use the Application.
- No Web Traffic: The application does not phone home, communicate with cloud servers, or broadcast any traffic over the internet.
2. Photo & EXIF Processing
Because the application deals with potentially sensitive photographic metadata (EXIF):
- All CR3/RAW thumbnail generations occur strictly using your Mac's built-in
sipsengine. - When you utilize the Drag-and-Drop Privacy Stripper tool, temporary cache copies are generated on your local hard drive, stripped of geographic (GPS) and identifiable data, and handed natively to your system clipboard or drag-handler.
- We never upload, scan remotely, or index your photographs.
3. Third-Party Integrations
The application contains quick-launch buttons that open specific external websites (like Facebook Groups) via your native system web browser so you may manually paste your formatted clipboard data. We are not affiliated with these websites, and your interactions with them are governed strictly by their respective Privacy Policies.
4. Changes to This Policy
Because we collect no data, we do not require your contact information to notify you of changes. This policy remains hosted publicly and will apply indefinitely to the offline functionality of the tool.
This policy constitutes the entirety of our localized privacy agreement. By using the app, you agree to these offline operating premises.
